Magnificent Artists Invite You to Fall In Love With One of Mother Nature's Most Beautiful Celebrations

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Please forgive the lack of post yesterday. I was experiencing some computer issues but that section will return next week.

If this theme doesn't make you want to run outside, jump in the leaves, play till you are tired - that good tired - and then come inside to snuggle and have something delicious to drink, I'd be shocked. What amazes me most about this treat is the way each artist blended those colors we all see in our mind's eye when one mentions Fall to create warm, inviting new works. Each work makes me want to sit with the artist over a cup of tea and talk about Fall, life, memories and beauty. These artists that I absolutely adore created moving, memorable, professional works that leave me - as always - wanting more.

I invite you to curl up and enjoy this playtime, this beauty, this fun.....Happy Fall, everyone!

Janet, creator of JanetDavies, created this striking 4X6 painting titled, Fall Dreams.

“This 4X6 painting is for the Creative Center For Cancer fundraiser. I’ve been experimenting with layering silk fabric and fibers with paints and it’s creating a dreamy effect,” said Janet. “I have really missed fall this year. Here in the desert we don’t really get a fall season and it makes me a little sad because fall is my favorite time of year.”

And now it's up to you to write your own "Fall Tales" in it!”

Teri - love this print and the bag!
Maureen - you go girl! Nice to see a little more definition in your work - beautiful.
Trina - I have a thing for bags and boxes and I adore this box!
Amanda - my feeble attempts at marbling in the past were nothing like these rich colors. Great work!
Kris - Oh please - those are fantastic!! I'm such a clutz I probably would burn the house down but so what - what an effect!
Bird - I have never done crochet in my life - I'm very impressed with this.
Natasha - that is SO you. That will be perfect for a journal cover.
As far as the four sneak attacks, they are all beautiful - and they all fit right in with the theme. Good job, Natasha. And let's hope they all join in with us.

Fall has always been my favorite season of the year. I love the colors (that I just simply *can't* wear) and the cooler weather. These beautiful objects just reminded me why. They are all so beautiful.

Thursdays used to be my absolute least favorite day of the week, for many reasons. Now, I look forward to it so much -- to see the beauty and to take part in this community. Thank you all.

Felicia, if you would like the box, it is yours. I would love to send it your way. Send me a convo on Etsy, and I'll find a way to get it to you.

Ladies, what a joy it was to revel in everyone's creations!! I wish I had time to comment on each one, but I leave tomorrow morning for three days and haven't packed a thing--gotta scoot--but I'm taking all this "joy of fall" with me. Once again, I'm sooooo proud to be part of this group of incredible generous artists.

Natasha, If you want a box, I would be honored to make you one. I don't think I have all of the exact same fabrics left, but I'm sure I have plenty of fun "fally" ones in my little pile of squares.

Consider it made.

Felicia, I am so excited to be able to pick something from your shop to trade!!! Now I have to actually *pick* something. There is soooooo much beauty there, both for the eyes and for the soul. Thanks for the offer. It really touched me.
