Imagine a Present...

Today, I believe you need a very special treat. You look like you could use some gorgeous flowers...so I am imagining that I am coming to each and every doorstep with your favorite flowers...tell me, which would those be?? Daffodils, sunflowers, roses, etc??

Natasha,

Thank you for the thoughtful gift. If someone brought me any flower in the world, I would choose dahlias. My grammy used to grow the most beautiful flowers in her garden, so many different kinds; but I remember her being the most proud of her dahlias.

Whenever I see them, I think of my grammy. I miss her more than words can say.

Thanks Natasha, for bringing such a happy memory to mind.

Greetings!

Thank you most kindly! :-) I did, rather, today. :-)

Sunflowers & those pretty painted daises - shasta daises, I think they're called??? And some dandelions. :-) I don't care that most consider them a weed, they are one of my favorite flowers. They are tough, resilient survivors that are nonetheless quite beautiful. :-) Ntm, tasty, if harvested in the right timeframe. :-D Who could ask for more? :-)

Oh, and some Queen Anne's lace. Also both beautiful & tasty. Some lovely memories from childhood. :-D

BB & GF! :-)

thank you natasha! i have so many favorites. i love yellow roses...they were my grandmother's favorites and that just stuck with me.
but, i also love wildflowers. when i got married, i wanted my bouquet to look like i picked it on my way to the church, and it did. one of the flowers in there were wax flowers...they are used as a filler really, but i love them. they look like pine needles with little tiny pink flowers on them.
now i am smiling! thanks!

You know how much I love flowers - my shop is full of them!

I'll take a mixed bouquet, thank you: Pink roses and yellow dahlias for me and lilacs in memory of my mother.

And I'll give back to you a bouquet of bright sunflowers ...

I think I'd have to go with a bunch of wildflowers. Ones you've found on a lovely afternoon walk. That would be perfect for me.

Natasha - how did I know you like sunflowers? You silly goose - you told us last week when I posted my sunflower photo for TST! HAHAHA
I would be hard pressed to say which flowers I DON'T like. I'm partial to flowers for cutting so I can have them in the house as well as the garden.
