Tremendously Talented Artists Create the Most Perfect Bright, Blue Day!

Who knew the blues could be so beautiful? These talented, incredible, professional, magical artists. That's who!

We have two special new surprises in this Treat....I hope you enjoy. The second one at the end of the Treat is a BIG gift from me to you :)

I invite you to enjoy this sensation feast for the eyes....

Isa, a wonderful artist, created this gorgeous piece titled, Blue Lagoon.

“I made this pendant with a cabochon ceramics manufactured in the south of France in Vallauris. I have surrounded the cabochon with seed beads 11/0 using the raw 3D technique.”

Agathe, creator of Meherio68, created this truly stunning piece.

"Funnily enough, the minute I saw "blue", I had the song "Blue Moon" in my head. It's there again every time I look at the ring which I made with a lot of love and cheer this Sunday, stamping, hammering, soldering (YES!), antiquing, finishing the sterling silver, and finally trying it on, with a bright smile to boot. It didn't even strike me until yesterday night that there could be something subliminal / opportunistic about my inspiration— I just love that song!"

Amanda, creator of Persistent Green, created this phenomenal 9x12 mixed media piece titled, Untitled.

"One of my favorite color combinations is blue and yellow--not a coincidence that you find the two in a bright, sunny day. I'm not quite finished with this one, but I'm pleased with its cheerfulness so far!"

Lorrie, creator of Lennymud, created this awesome BIG BLUE BOWL.

"When I looked at the sky for inspiration: I saw big, fluffy pieces of Popcorn. Obviously, I was hungry."

Kelsey, creator of Caffeinated Frenzy, created a beautiful Sunny Skies Scarf (cashmere) and a lovely Aries scarf (kid mohair/silk).

“Lately I've been working on lace scarves. Instead of making something with a super deep meaning, I just wanted to make something pretty to wear, to brighten someone's day.”

"This week Maureen just played with blue--three different shades, then her favorite straw to spitblow with, and her NEW favorite: the rigger for squiggly lines."

Natasha, creator of Doodlestar, shared a small piece from her art journal.

"It's just something that came to life as I started to think about blue."

These are all gorgeous - I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. And it's hard to imagine that blue isn't almost everyone's favorite color.

I'm intrigued with Isa's beautiful pendant and Alpha Buttonpusher's two pieces. Great stuff!

Good choices with the sneak attack, Natasha. Those are all beautiful pieces. I hope they all come to play!

Oh, so calm, soothing, peaceful, and gorgeous! I feel as if I just spent an afternoon at the beach, staring into the deep blue water. Perfect for this week.

Tash, I just love the two surprises--both to bring happiness to others. Your constant generosity humbles me.
