Last month I had the pleasure of meeting some fellow TST-ers. Jenjen, Phoenix Ravenswing, Phoenix's wonderful husband, Phoenix's fabulous sis-in-spirit and I met for lunch.
Phoenix Ravenswing, Jenjen and Natasha
It is such an amazing experience to meet the people you have been corresponding with online. It does more than simply put a face with a name, it adjusts your perspective. You have a certain picture in your mind of a person and how they will sound or what their expressions will be like. What I found in meeting these incredible TST-ers is that they exceeded every expectation I had. Immediately, I was engrossed in conversations that ranged from books to iPod's to history. While I had things to share, I had more fun simply listening and learning.
This lunch made me wonder what it would be like to meet each and every person on the Thursday Sweet Treat. I picture a room filled with laughter, crafting, stories and warmth. Someday I hope we can make that a reality.

For now, I want to thank Jenjen and Phoenix for taking the time to have lunch. You are both funny, thoughtful, exceptional, intelligent, talented women with such heart and passion for all that you do. I am honored to know you. Phoenix, thank you for allowing me to meet two very special people in your life as well. They are fabulous and wonderfully giving souls.
AND thank you to Kris (Lisianblue). Phoenix had her phone number so we called and I was able to chat with her for a few moments despite the incredible noise on my end. She has such a kind, warm, inviting, calm voice....I loved sinking into conversation despite the fact that it was brief.

Thank you to ALL of the people who visit this blog. Thank you for playing, cheering, sharing and being who you are. You add so much to my life and to the lives of those around you. It's truly my pleasure to know you.

Greetings!
Awww... thank you Natasha! :-)
It was wonderful meeting you & Jen-jen as well. Wonderful people even more wonderful in person! :-)
I hope that more of us can meet together in person too. Events of the last week or so are reminding me that such enclaves of positive, supportive people are not yet as numerous as might be wished.
Somewhere, there should be the beginnings of a plan to meet - a TST convention or gathering, as it were. Give enough time to plan it properly, ntm give participants enough time to make arrangements to be able to attend, I think this could be an amazing thing. :-)
BB & GF, you wonderful TST-ers! :-)
Thank you all so much for playing & cheering here, and cheering simply BY your being here. :-)

It was so great to be able to talk to Bird, Natasha, and Jenjen - even tho half the conversation was about not being able to hear each other! But, it was fun! I'm so glad that Bird thought about calling me so I could at least join you wonderful people for a few minutes from far away!
