I would so much rather live in a tree house. I love the feeling of being surrounded by leaves and branches, and I'm not at all afraid of heights.

Also, I the one and only time I have ever been on a houseboat, I had the rather unfortunate experience of falling off the houseboat into Lake Union in the dark of night in the dead of winter. I stopped at the edge, and I looked, but the water was so calm that it looked like the dock, and the owner of the boat had not put up the chain. Luckily I was resuced, and didn't lose any of my chainmaille supplies and I wasn't hurt. The only casulties were my cellphone and one lone fingernail (along with my pride). By the way, there was no alcohol involved. So...needless to say, I'm not planning on any more houseboat adventures any time soon. I think there may be a 25 word story in this experience somewhere!

Rose and I are busy working away on our bits of sunshine!!!

See you all on Thursday,

Trina

Well I could move the houseboat if I got bored but... I really like being up high! I've always wanted to live in a tree house so I suppose I'd have to pick that one.

Trina!! What a story!! There's more than a 25 word one there LOL! I'm so glad you were ok...yes, treehouse for you ;)
I CAN'T wait to see what you and Rose create this week YAY!!!

Sal - true you could move the boat BUT if you've always wanted to be up high I'd agree with your treehouse assessment!

I think I'd like to spend 6 months a year on the house boat maybe even floating around and 6 months in the trees. There's a place I read about in the trees in Costa Rican in the middle of their rainforest ...I REALLY want to see it ..something like that might cool...then I could go down to the beach, surf and hop on my houseboat and sail around oh Yeah!

I think I would go for the tree house, especially a fancy one like that! I love communing with nature!

I don't mind being ON the water, but I'm not real comfortable being IN the water. The houseboat might be fun for a change, though.

Off to Creative Nachos ...

Felicia - I agree ....I see a combination as sort of fun ...the best of both worlds perhaps??

SalvagedExpression said...

What would a combination look like? Maybe a tree house on the shore or the crows nest of a tall ship.

Sal!! I just HOWLED ... I meant like living in one for a time and then another although I'm kinda diggin that whole treehouse by the shore thing!

It would be so much fun to live on a houseboat... though a tree house would be really cool too!

Natasha said...

Erica - right? They are both kinda cool options...that's why I'd have both and split my time between the two LOL!

Yep, this is another impossible choice for me. So . . .. I would (somehow!!!) get a tree to grow smack dab in the middle of my houseboat (so it would be balanced, don't you know!!) and then build a tree house in it. Yep, best of both worlds . . .(and don't anybody dare tell me this is impractical--I'm Queen of my universe and I could make it work!!)

Aqua - I wish you knew how hard I was laughing right now! I'm in tears!! I LOVE this and I'm totally coming over to your boattreehouse as soon as you have it set up!! Great response

SalvagedExpression said...

Aqua I have faith in you! You can and will make that tree grow. So what kind of tree will it be? I'm kind of thinking some kind of big cherry tree. Food, flowers, it might be perfect.

It's a hard choice to make but I would choose boathouse solely because the idea seems very romantic to me.

Sal - I'm with you!! I never even thought about the type of tree - what would it be Aqua??

My Owl Barn - welcome! How are you? I love your response and agree it would be romantic - love that!
