Well for once I'm not waffling. I would have to hike it..touch the earth without a doubt. I would love to check out that cool glass floor on the way out though!
I'd like to do both too - but I don't think my back could no longer handle the down low. I know some people with fear of heights who won't go near that glass floor!
I would love to be on a very sure footed horse winding my way down into the canyon. That way I would see everything up close and personal. I would never ever ever walk out on that thing! I don't even like bridges. It can start hyperventilating just thinking about it! :)
wow...great photos. i don't know about the glass floor. i think i would have to see it up close, though. but, looking at the picture it looks a bit scary! and, horseback would be amazing! tough one!
Hello, hello, hello all you wonderful TSTers!! I'm just checking in and saying hi. Felicia I love this one the photos are stellar. I, too, would need the glass floor adrenaline rush but I would also love to hike and feel the Earth. This is so great. Thanks again Felicia love to you and all you guys. I miss you see you soon!
I have hiked the Grand Canyon several times, never ALL the way down. I would not want to ride the mules, although I understand they are very safe. I like using my own feet. I haven't been to the glass floor area, but I would walk on it. It might seem freaky at first, but I think I would get used to it.
OMG! I didn't even know such a thing existed. I'm so glad it either wasn't there when I visited there as a child, or my parents didn't know about it. I have acrophobia (fear of falling), so unless I have metallic wings around me, or until I grow the feathered kind in reality, I'll stay on the earth, thank you very kindly! :-D
So, of the two, I'd take some deep breaths and trust the mules. Can't be any worse than some of the other faith-based moving I'm doing of late, can it? :-D

Oooh - very interesting! Both - I'd love to check out that glass floor up way high, and I'd certainly like to hike it, too! :)

Correction: I would like to do both but my back can't handle the down low. :)

Pretty sure I would not do the bridge thing. . . now, give me a glass-bottomed boat in the Caribbean!!!
And a double yes to having a surefooted horse to carry me down into the canyon . . .
Oh how scary!! I'd have to take the glass floor, if only to experience that incredible rush of adrenaline. :)
Loved this one, Felicia!
Personally, I like the ground under my feet.
I'm with you, Amanda, I would like to try the glass floor just to feel the rush.

Ooo - the glass thing would FREAK me out!
Hi Natasha! Great to see you here but hope you're not cheating on your "time out." See you back here soon - it's not the same without you.
I've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. I'm terrified of heights so I think I'll pick the safe, feet solid ground trip.
I have hiked the Grand Canyon several times, never ALL the way down. I would not want to ride the mules, although I understand they are very safe. I like using my own feet. Yay, hi, Natasha! I'm not surprised, you little daredevil. :) Hope you're having a FANTASTIC time!
I would try it...I wish it was there when I went (on my honeymoon), my hubby on the other hand said "not a chance!".
Greetings!
