ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. CHALLENGE: Last week the 20 word love stories submissions were great. So, I thought we'd try it again this week. I invite you to try your hand at writing an adventure story in 20 words and I will post the results on Monday, May 11th. Please have your submissions to me by 8:00am EST Monday, May 11th.
2. IMPORTANT NOTE: During the next couple of weeks, many Thursday Sweet Treat participants will be working on a special project with a 2nd grade class in NYC. They will be working to give feedback on the children's "I Am.." poems, working on their own "I Am.." poems and working to bring a child's poem to life. More information about the project will be shared today. If you are interested in joining, please visit, http://thursdaysweettreat.ning.com/

PARTICIPANT'S CHOICE
THEME:
THEME:
For those who are not participating in the TST 2nd Grade project or for anyone who might simply want to play, this week's theme is a little different. There have been a total of 17 themes since this blog started. Please feel free to review all of them and then choose one or two that you would like to create something for.
It's important to note that this differs slightly from the Mini-Monthly in that your submission cannot be something that you already started. You may have seen a theme and thought of an idea but not started the work on it. Your submission needs to be something you will begin working on now. All themes are up for grabs so dive in and if you find something in the archives that you are passionate about - go for it!
Remember, how you choose to interpret the theme is completely up to you. It simply needs to be tasteful – no pornography or messages of hate here. When you sit down to create, you cannot think about how people will or will not receive your work. You are required to simply enjoy the act of creating.

This could be fun! I can go back and try something for the one I missed maybe...
Salvaged - after seeing your rockc garden yesterday and all your works...I selfishly want you to make things for all of them again...your work makes me happy...but I'll settle for one theme I guess hehehee
Greetings!
I love this!!! Ways that I can participate and still get everything done in a sane and happy way!!! You once again show your immense awesomeness, Natasha! :-)
I do indeed have some quick projects that I designed, but got no further than that, so perhaps I will give myself a Crafting Break every now and then and do one. :-D
In any case, LOVE the 20-word adventure story. Already thinking of some poss. 'plotlines'. :-D
Really am getting back to work now, honest! :-P

PS - Captcha = tertupgo. I see the word 'go', which I think is a def. sign to get up from the 'puter and get back to work. :-P

If there were more hours in a day I already would have done each theme at least twice!

I'm so glad you are doing the 20-word story/poem again. I think it's great fun and I'll try to be on time this time.
And I like picking your own theme because I won't be participating in the "I am" project this time. Would like to follow it though, and see if I can contribute to the next one.
