Then, leave them a little love as this is just great work!(There will be one additional entry coming a later today so please check back :)

Greetings!

I'd love to see this continue, actually. :-) There are so many ways and places for love, as you point out, Natasha. :-) And it's a great way to remember all the things that each one of us, no matter our circumstances, has to love and to be thankful for.

For sheer poetry, my fave was Aquamaureen's. Such a powerful tribute to the Journey. :-)

Alison Kinney - "He loves her books, not her vacuuming." Love it, love it, love it!!! :-) What a wonderful partner you have, and what a wonderful way to state it. :-)

"Forget fairy tales. Give me happily ever laughter." What a wonderful sentiment and so wise! :-) Would that more folk would remember to choose their partners with that criterion in mind. :-)

BB & GF! :-)

PS - Captcha = exhanthe. Seems a wonderful combination of exhilarate and breathe, with a wonderful spiritual misty kind of feel to it. Very appropriate. :-) -B! :bird

Bird, Bird, Bird...there were so many little parts of yours that I loved...but these two..."My husband, bright, shining star, knows where to walk and what to say and most importantly, what not to say." This was GENIUS...sooo well put!! Luckily I have that at home as well hehehe

"For Love of a Rose universe - unfinished, unfound. Now I get the joy of discovering you. How wonderful is that??? :-D" There is such celebration in this...

They were all wonderful...and I agree Alison's piece was excellent..I loved it as well and that line of Amanda's was fantastic...I loved it and wrote it down...

Ooops - I wanted to try this but didn't know there was a deadline. I have been so crazy busy but I will still try. Any romantic ones will be bittersweet - I'm alone now - but with lovely memories. But there's lots of love relationships with family and others .... so I'll try!

It's amazing how much feeling and atmosphere can be expressed by a mere 20 words.

I'm finding the responses to "The Boats" interesting; when I read it, it seems rather dark, which wasn't at all my intent.

I've always considered myself a primarily visual person, but working with words in such parameters was fun.

Natasha said...

Mackin-Art - I agree with you...the feeling and atmosphere in this pieces is fascnating especially because it's only 20 words...but look at the magic you created...I didn't think it was dark so much as moving, hopeful...it had a mystical feeling that I truly dig

Unknown said...

Mackin-Art - mmmm not dark at all for me. the beginning of something so new, a bit of sadness perhaps, but joy and anticipation.

Natasha - thank you! They really were just spur of the moment! I had written the one about my grandson & was on my way to click on "publish your comment" and saw your "off to insanity" - and those words started a chain reaction so to speak!
I'm glad they brought you joy.

I think I will share that with Kai, - I think it might become something similar to the I Am idea -
Thank you!
