The writer/crafter who was supposed to be here to play today was unable to get everything to me. Ah, life! We all get that, right? But she will be here next week and I'm SO excited for you to meet her...for many it may be the first time you've met.
I am on a tight deadline for a massive project and when that happens I like to keep jokes handy to entertain me in times of stress. So today, let's play.

Because 7 8 9 (get it? 7 ate 9 ...do you know how much that makes me laugh? Yes I know I am a true dork!)

At this present moment, all I can think of is "blond" jokes . . and I don't want to offend anyone . . and usually I do NOT like jokes that pick out some particular portion of the population .. but my niece is blond and she and her mother keep me supplied . . . so it's not MY fault that all I can think of right now is how the blond got fired from the M & M factory because she kept throwing away the Ws . . . but I won't tell that joke 'cause I don't want to offend . .. :)
Aquamaureen!!! Stop tho...that was SO funny...as an M&M fan I can truly appreciate that and I ESPECIALLY love that you wouldn't tell that joke..that might have been my favorite part....LOL...love it

This is one of my favorites - it's more of a cartoon - lady sitting at desk with computer on it, 2 cats sitting nearby. One cat says to the other cat: " It's amazing how they can play with the same mouse for hours on end."
Here's another one: Just as I finish up my ornament this afternoon and gather up my two new stained glass butterflies, camera, tripod, etc, it starts raining and becomes very very dark!!! and therefore Kris won't be entering this weeks theme! :-))
and Natasha, I'm laughing just at you laughing about 7,8, 9.
Maureen - sometimes I have that same problem, get my W's and M's confused and I'm brunette! hehehe
natasha, i love that joke too! did you know that there is a song of that joke sung by the barenaked ladies?!? it's so fun! they have a kids cd called snacktime, and it's on there...along with lots of other fun songs! i don't know any real jokes, because my kids always want me to just make them up. it usually goes something like this..."what did the mommy bird say to the baby bird at bedtime?"..."what?"..."tweet dreams!"...oh well, the kids always laugh and then try their own.
