PARTICIPANT'S CHOICE
THEME - Part Duex:
This past Thursday, the work created by the artists who are not participating in the TST 2nd Grade project was sensational. Many who submitted said they had other themes they wanted to try as well so this theme is for YOU!! (And me as I LOVE being surprised by the amazing creations and themes chosen.) There have been a total of 17 themes since this blog started. Please feel free to review all of them and then choose one or two that you would like to create something for. It's important to note that this differs slightly from the Mini-Monthly in that your submission cannot be something that you already started. You may have seen a theme and thought of an idea but not started the work on it. Your submission needs to be something you will begin working on now. All themes are up for grabs so dive in and if you find something in the archives that you are passionate about - go for it!
Please note some important changes this week.
As the 2nd grade project will be revealed on Thursday, May 21st, the Participant Choice Theme will be unveiled on WEDNESDAY, MAY 20th. Now, I know that's a little less time but I know you can do it. Please have your piece in no later than midnight on Tuesday, May 19th.
Remember, how you choose to interpret the theme is completely up to you. It simply needs to be tasteful – no pornography or messages of hate here. When you sit down to create, you cannot think about how people will or will not receive your work. You are required to simply enjoy the act of creating.
Important Guidelines
The work submitted must be something you have created and/or worked on between the time the theme was revealed and the WEDNESDAY UNVEILING. Please submit your response to Natasha@creativenachos.com no later than end of day TUESDAY, MAY 19th if you would like it to be posted on WEDNESDAY, MAY 20th. OR send me a link to your response to include in the comments section of the post.
With your response please include:
1. Your name - either first name, shop name or both.
2. The name of your piece (if you choose to give it one)
3. The name of the theme you chose
4. Something you'd like to share (process of creation, idea behind piece) if you'd like to share anything
5. The shop and/or blog links you'd like to include
6. Two photos of your piece or of each of the pieces (3x5 or 4x6 and 72dpi or a max of 96dpi - if you need any help with that please don't worry I'd be happy to help!)

I think I see another ugly hat coming on. I'm kind of hooked on them and I think I have a theme in mind.
